Dr. Tolu Alugo is a Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine. He completed his residency program in HST (Higher Specialist Training) with the College of Anesthetists of Ireland. In 2009, he pursued a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, Faculty of Anesthesia, St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Dr. Alugo obtained his FCARCSI in 2009, Dip.Pain Medicine in 2011, FIPP (Fellow in Interventional Pain Practice) in 2012, and CIPS (Certified Interventional Pain Sonologist) in 2017, all with the World Institute of Pain (WIP) in Miami. In 2019, he achieved certification from ASRA-PMUC.

Currently, Dr. Alugo serves as the Director of Chronic Pain Management Services at Horizon Health Canada and is affiliated with Dalhousie University, Canada. He is widely published and has contributed as a guest speaker at numerous international meetings. Additionally, he provides education locally and internationally for organizations such as PSI (Pain School Interventional) in Budapest, ASIPP (American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians), and PAIN Network Africa.
