Massimo Barbieri

MD, FIPP

Dr Barbieri is a chronic pain specialist from Milan. He graduated from the University of Milan with honours in 1992 and specialized in Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy. After a few years of scientific research, he decided to dedicate himself to treating patients living with chronic pain.

He has trained and taken courses in London, Houston and Lausanne, and brought back techniques to Italy not yet available for patients in the country.
He qualified as a FIPP (Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice) with WIP (World Institute of Pain) in 2011, thus joined a small group of doctors possessing this diploma in Italy.
Dr Barbieri presents and teaches at various international conferences, including Pain School International in Budapest.
