MD, FIPP, CIPS, ASRA-PMUC

Dr. Christ Declerck, MD, FIPP, CIPS, ASRA-PMUC, is accredited in Belgium and France for Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, with additional international certifications in Algology. He completed his medical training and the anesthesia residency program at Ghent University. Following this, he spent a year as a research fellow at Columbia University, NY. Dr. Declerck furthered his training with a residency in ICU at Pitié-Salpetrière, Paris, and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

Since 2012, Dr. Declerck has been an integral part of the Multidisciplinary Pain Center in Bruges, Belgium. The MPC Bruges boasts a team of four full-time pain physicians conducting clinical and educational activities at the General Hospital Sint-Jan-Sint-Lucas Bruges and Sint Andries Hospital Tielt.

He actively participates as an educator for the World Institute of Pain (WIP) organization and serves as an examiner for FIPP and CIPS certification at the World Institute of Pain in Miami. Dr. Declerck also imparts knowledge as a teacher at the Pain International School in Budapest and with the ISURA organization.

Dr. Declerck’s professional interests lie in basic and advanced interventional pain management techniques, particularly ultrasound-guided nerve ablation techniques, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve modulation, and intrathecal drug delivery systems. He possesses specialized experience and interest in the treatment by cryoneurolysis of peripheral nerves, SI joints, and cervical facet syndromes.
